Yayāti’s Proclamation: Spreading the Nectar of the Divine Name

All-Vaiṣṇava Gift

Concept: Public dharma is not merely law but guidance toward ‘supathā’—the good path identified explicitly as Hari’s path.

Application: Use influence (family, workplace, community) to share constructive, dharma-aligned guidance that points others toward steadier virtues and devotion rather than mere compliance.

H
Hari (Vishnu)

FAQs

It urges that righteous instruction (dharma-yukta words) be spread everywhere so that people follow the good path identified with devotion to Hari (Vishnu).

It uses the traditional Purāṇic geography idiom to express universality—dharma is to be communicated across the whole inhabited world, not confined to one place.

That guidance should be both widespread and dharma-aligned, and that social well-being is linked to steering people toward a wholesome, morally grounded path associated with Hari.
