The Episode of Śivaśarmā: Testing Somaśarmā through Service and Truth

स्नानस्थानादिकं सोपि तयोर्भक्त्यान्वितः स्वयम् । द्वावेतौ हि गुरू विप्रः सोमशर्मा महायशाः

snānasthānādikaṃ sopi tayorbhaktyānvitaḥ svayam | dvāvetau hi gurū vipraḥ somaśarmā mahāyaśāḥ

Er selbst, von Hingabe zu jenen beiden erfüllt, wies den heiligen Badeplatz und die weiteren Anordnungen. Wahrlich, diese beiden sind die Gurus—so spricht der ruhmreiche Brāhmaṇa Somaśarmā von großem Ansehen.
