तमेवघातयेद्यो वै तस्य पापं शृणुष्व हि । पापात्मा जायते पुत्रः किल्बिषं लभते बहु

tamevaghātayedyo vai tasya pāpaṃ śṛṇuṣva hi | pāpātmā jāyate putraḥ kilbiṣaṃ labhate bahu

Wer wahrlich eben diesen Menschen tötet—höre die Sünde eines solchen: Ihm wird ein Sohn mit böser Seele geboren, und er lädt reichlich Schuld auf sich.
