Narrative of King Pṛthu: Chastising and Milking the Earth

नमस्कार्यो महाराजो वृत्तिदाता महीभृताम् । एवं पात्रविशेषाश्च मया ख्याता द्विजोत्तमाः

namaskāryo mahārājo vṛttidātā mahībhṛtām | evaṃ pātraviśeṣāśca mayā khyātā dvijottamāḥ

Der große König —der den Trägern der Erde den Lebensunterhalt gewährt— ist ehrfürchtiger Verneigung würdig. So, o Bester der Zweimalgeborenen, habe ich die besonderen Arten würdiger Empfänger (von Gaben) dargelegt.
