bakulasvāmino'bhyarcā nṛṇāṃ svargatidāyinī | saṃpūjya mārutāṃ devīṃ sarvakāmaphalaṃ labhet || 66 ||
Die Verehrung von Bakula-svāmin schenkt den Menschen den Gang in den Himmel. Und wer die Göttin Mārutā rechtmäßig verehrt, erlangt die Früchte aller Wünsche.
Narada (within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue framework typical of this section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It functions as a phala-śruti: it links disciplined worship (abhyarcā/saṁpūjā) at a sacred context to concrete spiritual outcomes—svarga-gati through Bakula-svāmin and comprehensive wish-fulfillment through Mārutā Devī.
Bhakti here is expressed as focused, reverential worship of a named Lord and a goddess; the verse emphasizes devotion supported by proper honoring (saṁpūjya) as an efficacious means to attain both spiritual and worldly ends.
Ritual application is implied (kalpa/ācāra): the verse stresses correct performance of pūjā (abhyarcā, saṁpūjā) and the doctrine of results (phala) tied to prescribed worship in a tirtha-mahātmya setting.
