Tīrtha-vidhi (Procedure for Holy Places) — Prayāgarāja-māhātmya

अहंकारविमुक्तश्च स तीर्थफलमाप्नुयात । अकल्पको निरारम्भो लघ्वाहारो जितेंद्रियः ॥ १४ ॥

ahaṃkāravimuktaśca sa tīrthaphalamāpnuyāta | akalpako nirārambho laghvāhāro jiteṃdriyaḥ || 14 ||

Wer vom Ich-Dünkel (Ahaṃkāra) befreit ist, erlangt wahrhaft die Frucht der Pilgerfahrt zum Tīrtha. Ohne Künstelei lebend, ohne neue Unternehmungen zu beginnen, mit leichter Speise und bezwungenen Sinnen, gewinnt er den wirklichen Nutzen der heiligen Furt.
