The Greatness of Puruṣottama

Goloka-tattva and Rādhā–Kṛṣṇa Upāsanā

प्रपन्नास्ते तु विज्ञेयाः द्विविधा विधिनंदिनि । आर्तदृप्तविभेदेन तत्रार्ता असहा मताः ॥ ४२ ॥

prapannāste tu vijñeyāḥ dvividhā vidhinaṃdini | ārtadṛptavibhedena tatrārtā asahā matāḥ || 42 ||

Doch die, welche Zuflucht genommen haben (prapanna), sind als zweierlei zu erkennen, o Geliebte der Vidhī: die Bedrängten und die Selbstzufriedenen. Unter ihnen gelten die Bedrängten als solche, die ihr Leid nicht ertragen können.
