The Account of Mohinī

Mohinī-upākhyāna

स एवमुक्तः कमलासनेन विमृश्य बुद्ध्या विससर्ज कोपम् । उवाच देवं त्रिदशाधिनाथं विमोहिनीदेहकृतं द्विजेंद्रः ॥ ४७ ॥

sa evamuktaḥ kamalāsanena vimṛśya buddhyā visasarja kopam | uvāca devaṃ tridaśādhināthaṃ vimohinīdehakṛtaṃ dvijeṃdraḥ || 47 ||

So von dem Lotos-Sitzenden (Brahmā) angesprochen, erwog der Vornehmste der Brāhmaṇas mit klarem Urteil, ließ seinen Zorn fahren und sprach zum göttlichen Herrn der Götter, der die betörende Gestalt (Mohinī) angenommen hatte.
