Unspecified (a subordinate addressing a divine authority in dialogue)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta

It emphasizes dharmic restraint: one should not act—especially in matters of enforcement or consequence—without rightful authority and explicit instruction, aligning action with divine order (ājñā).
Bhakti is shown as humble obedience and surrender: the speaker refuses independent action and seeks the Lord’s directive, modeling dependence on divine will rather than ego-driven initiative.
While no specific Vedāṅga is named, the verse reflects a core dharma-śāstric principle relevant to ritual and governance: actions require proper injunction (vidhi/ājñā) and should not be performed arbitrarily.
