Narada (instructional dialogue, addressed to a lady as 'varāvarṇinī')

Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It emphasizes that sincere observance can be upheld through scriptural time-rules and sanctioned concessions, preserving dharma even when ideal astrological conditions are not available.
By allowing practical flexibility in timing, it supports steady performance of devotional observances (vratas/pujā) without excessive dependence on technical constraints, keeping focus on faithful practice.
Jyotiṣa (Vedic astrology) is referenced through lagna-śuddhi (ascendant purity) and seasonal timing (Uttarāyaṇa), indicating rules of muhūrta selection and when exceptions apply.
