पूरयामास वेगेन संछाद्य रविमण्डलम् जम्भो ऽपि परमेकैकं शरैर्बहुभिराहवे //

pūrayāmāsa vegena saṃchādya ravimaṇḍalam jambho 'pi paramekaikaṃ śarairbahubhirāhave //

Mit großer Geschwindigkeit erfüllte er den Himmel und verhüllte die Sonnenscheibe; und in jener Schlacht wurde auch Jambha — einer nach dem anderen — von vielen Pfeilen getroffen.
