*देवा ऊचुः त्वमोंकारो ऽस्यङ्कुराय प्रसूतो विश्वस्यात्मानन्तभेदस्य पूर्वम् सम्भूतस्यानन्तरं सत्त्वमूर्ते संहारेच्छोस्ते नमो रुद्रमूर्ते //

Transliteration

*devā ūcuḥ tvamoṃkāro 'syaṅkurāya prasūto viśvasyātmānantabhedasya pūrvam sambhūtasyānantaraṃ sattvamūrte saṃhārecchoste namo rudramūrte //

Translation

Die Devas sprachen: Du bist die Silbe Oṃ, geboren als der Samenkeim dieses Universums—sein eigenes Selbst, vor seinen endlosen Unterscheidungen. Du erscheinst vor ihm und bleibst nach ihm; o Verkörperung der Sattva, o du, der die Auflösung will, Verehrung dir in deiner Rudra-Gestalt.
