Matsya Purana — The Strategy to Defeat Tāraka: Pārvatī’s Birth, Shloka 59

तारको नाम दैत्येन्द्रः सुरकेतुरनिर्जितः तस्याभावाय भगवाञ् जनयिष्यति चेश्वरः //

tārako nāma daityendraḥ suraketuranirjitaḥ tasyābhāvāya bhagavāñ janayiṣyati ceśvaraḥ //

Es gibt einen Fürsten der Dānavas namens Tāraka, einen unbesiegten Feind der Götter. Zu seiner Vernichtung wird der erhabene Herr, der höchste Lenker, (ein göttliches Wesen) hervorbringen.
