yato niḥsādhano dharmaḥ parimāṇojjhitā ratiḥ dhanaṃ jīvitaparyāptaṃ patyau nāryāḥ pratiṣṭhitam //

Translation

Denn Dharma wird ohne angemessene Mittel nicht vollbracht; Liebe, die das rechte Maß missachtet, wird verderblich; und der zum Lebensunterhalt genügende Besitz—Sicherheit und Ansehen der Frau—ist im Gatten begründet.
