Adhyaya 90 — The Slaying of Shumbha and the Reabsorption of the Goddesses into Ambika
छिन्ने धनुषि दैत्येन्द्रस्तथा शक्तिमथाददे ।
चिच्छेद देवी चक्रेण तामप्यस्य करे स्थिताम् ॥
chinne dhanuṣi daityendras tathā śaktim athādade / ciccheda devī cakreṇa tām apy asya kare sthitām
Als sein Bogen zerschnitten war, ergriff der Herr der Daityas einen Speer (śakti). Auch diesen zerteilte die Göttin mit ihrem Diskus, obwohl er noch in seiner Hand war.
