Adhyaya 8 — Vasu's Redemption
एवं वर्षशतं पूर्णं गतं तत्र कुयोनिṣu । अपश्यच्च कदाचित् स राजा तत् स्वकुलोद्भवम् ॥
evaṃ varṣaśataṃ pūrṇaṃ gataṃ tatra kuyoniṣu / apaśyac ca kadācit sa rājā tat svakulodbhavam
So vergingen dort, inmitten niedriger Geburten, volle hundert Jahre. Und einmal sah jener König jemanden, der aus seiner eigenen Linie geboren war.
