Adhyaya 75 — The Fall and Restoration of Revatī Nakṣatra and the Birth of Raivata Manu
विपाठां नन्दिनीं चैव वेद्मि भार्यां गृहे द्विज ।
तिष्ठन्ति मे न भगवन् रेवतीं वेद्मि कान्वियम् ॥
vipāṭhāṃ nandinīṃ caiva vedmi bhāryāṃ gṛhe dvija /
tiṣṭhanti me na bhagavan revatīṃ vedmi kānv iyam //
„O Brahmane, in meinem Hause kenne ich auch Vipāṭhā und Nandinī als Gemahlinnen. Doch, Ehrwürdiger, Revatī weilt nicht bei mir; wer ist diese Revatī, die ich kennen soll?“
