Adhyaya 72The Reconciliation Rite, Sarasvati Sacrifice, and the Birth of Uttama Manu (Auttama Manvantara Prelude)

अप्रीतयोः प्रीतिकरो सा हि संजननी परम् । भार्यापत्योर्मनुष्येन्द्र ! तान्तवेष्टिं करोम्यहम् ॥

aprītayoḥ prītikaro sā hi saṃjananī param / bhāryāpatyor manuṣyendra! tāntaveṣṭiṃ karomy aham

„Für jene, die ohne Zuneigung sind, bringt sie — die Kraft dieses Ritus — Zuneigung hervor; wahrlich, sie ist der höchste Erzeuger von Eintracht zwischen Gattin und Gatten, o Herr der Menschen. Ich werde die ‘tāntava‑iṣṭi’ vollziehen.“
