Adhyaya 61The Second Manvantara Begins: The Brahmin’s Swift Journey and Varuthini’s Temptation on Himavat

मार्कण्डेय उवाच एवम् सञ्चिन्तयन्ती सा दिव्ययोषित् स्मरातुरा । आत्मानं दर्शयामास कमनीयतराकृतिम् ॥

mārkaṇḍeya uvāca evaṃ sañcintayantī sā divyayoṣit smarāturā / ātmānaṃ darśayāmāsa kamanīyatarākṛtim

Mārkaṇḍeya sprach: «So dachte jene himmlische Frau—vom Begehren gequält—und offenbarte sich daraufhin, indem sie eine noch betörendere Gestalt annahm.»
