Adhyaya 61 — The Second Manvantara Begins: The Brahmin’s Swift Journey and Varuthini’s Temptation on Himavat
प्रादात् स ब्राह्मणश्चास्मै पादलेपम् उदारधीः ।
अभिमन्त्रयामास दिशं तेनाख्यातां च यत्नतः ॥
prādāt sa brāhmaṇaś cāsmai pāda-lepam udāra-dhīḥ |
abhimantrayāmāsa diśaṁ tenākhyātāṁ ca yatnataḥ ||
Jener großherzige Brāhmaṇa gab ihm eine Fußsalbe und bekräftigte sorgfältig (durch Mantra) die Richtung, die er ihm gewiesen hatte.
