Adhyaya 48The Emanation of Beings from Brahma: Night, Day, Twilight, and the Orders of Creation

अन्यां तनुमुपादाय सिसृक्षुः प्रीतिमाप सः ।

सत्त्वोद्रेकास्ततो देवा मुखतस्तस्य जज्ञिरे ॥

anyāṃ tanum upādāya sisṛkṣuḥ prītim āpa saḥ |

sattvodrekās tato devā mukhatas tasya jajñire ||

Einen anderen Leib annehmend, wurde Er—vom Wunsch zu erschaffen bewegt—zufrieden. Dann, bei vorherrschender Sattva, wurden die Götter aus seinem Mund geboren.
