यथा घटीकुम्भकमाṇ्डलुस्थम् आकाशमेकं बहुधा हि दृष्टम् ।

तथा सुबाहुः स च काशिपोऽहं मल्ये च देहेषु शरीरभेदैः ॥

yathā ghaṭī-kumbhaka-maṇḍalu-stham ākāśam ekaṃ bahudhā hi dṛṣṭam | tathā subāhuḥ sa ca kāśipo ’haṃ malye ca deheṣu śarīra-bhedaiḥ ||

Wie der eine Raum als viele erscheint, wenn er in einem kleinen Topf, einem Krug oder einem Wassergefäß eingeschlossen ist, so gibt es auch—durch die Verschiedenheit der Körper—Subāhu, Kāśipa und mich, und (andere) unter den Mallas und sonstigen verkörperten Wesen.
