भवेतत्कुर्वतो राज्यं गृहधर्मावलम्बिनः ।
दुःखायतनभूतो हि ममत्वालम्बनो गृही ॥
bhavettat kurvato rājyaṃ gṛhadharmāvalambinaḥ | duḥkhāyatanabhūto hi mamatvālambano gṛhī
Solches Leid trifft den, der ein Reich regiert und doch an Pflichten und Bindungen des Hausstandes festhält; denn der Hausherr, gestützt auf das Gefühl des „Mein“ (mamatva), macht das Haus wahrhaft zu einem Sitz des Kummers.
