Adhyaya 35 — Madālasa’s Instruction on Purity, Impurity, and Corrective Rites (Śauca and Aśauca)

स्पृष्टानामप्यसंसर्गैर्विरथ्याकर्दमाम्भसाम् ।

पक्वेष्टरचितानाञ्च मेध्यता वायुसङ्गमात् ॥

Transliteration

spṛṣṭānām apy asaṃsargair virathyā-kardamāmbhasām | pakveṣṭa-racitānāñ ca medhyatā vāyu-saṅgamāt ||

Translation

Selbst bei bereits berührten Dingen gilt: Wenn kein weiterer Kontakt mit Unreinheit erfolgt—ebenso bei Dingen, die von Straßenwasser und Schlamm betroffen sind—und bei mit rechter Absicht bereiteten Anordnungen gekochter Speise, wird Reinheit durch die Berührung des Windes erlangt.
