Adhyaya 21 — Kuvalayashva’s Descent to Patala and the Rescue of Madalasa
पातालकेतुर्दुष्टात्मा वाराहं वपुरास्थितः ।
केनापि विद्धो बाणेन मुनीनां त्राणकारणात् ॥
pātālaketur duṣṭātmā vārāhaṃ vapur āsthitaḥ | kenāpi viddho bāṇena munīnāṃ trāṇakāraṇāt ||
Pātālaketu, von böser Gesinnung, nahm den Leib eines Ebers an und wurde von jemandes Pfeil durchbohrt—auf diese Weise wurden die Weisen gerettet.
