प्रस्थाप्य सेनां कन्याश्न गणिकाश्न स्वलड्कृता: । मत्स्यराजो महाप्राज्ञ: प्रहष्ट इदमब्रवीत्
prasthāpya senāṃ kanyāś ca gaṇikāś ca svalāṅkṛtāḥ | matsyarājo mahāprājñaḥ prahṛṣṭa idam abravīt ||
Nachdem er das Heer entsandt hatte und auch die Mädchen und Kurtisanen—aufs Schönste geschmückt—ließ König Matsya, ein Mann von großer Einsicht, innerlich erfreut, diese Worte vernehmen.
