जित्वा त्रिगर्तान्‌ संग्रामे गाश्नैवादाय सर्वशः । अशोभत महाराज सहपार्थ: श्रिया वृत:,महाराज! संग्राममें त्रिगर्तोॉंको हराकर सम्पूर्ण गौएँ वापस ले विजयलक्ष्मीसे सम्पन्न महाराज विराट कुन्तीपुत्रोंके साथ बड़ी शोभा पाने लगे

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca | jitvā trigartān saṅgrāme gāś caivādāya sarvaśaḥ | aśobhat mahārāja sahapārthaḥ śriyā vṛtaḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „O großer König, nachdem er die Trigartas im Kampf besiegt und das gesamte Vieh zurückgewonnen hatte, erstrahlte König Virāṭa — in Begleitung der Pārthas — vom Glanz des Sieges umgeben.“
