पाण्डवपरिचयः—विराटसभायां प्रकाशनम्
Identification of the Pāṇḍavas in Virāṭa’s Court
लब्ध्वा हि संज्ञां तु कुरुप्रवीरा: पार्थ निरीक्ष्याथ सुरेन्द्रकल्पम् । रणे विमुक्तं स्थितमेकमाजौ स धार्तराष्ट्रस्त्वरितं बभाषे
labdhvā hi saṁjñāṁ tu kurupravīrāḥ pārtha nirīkṣyātha surendrakalpam | raṇe vimuktaṁ sthitam ekam ājau sa dhārtarāṣṭras tvaritaṁ babhāṣe ||
Als die Kuru-Helden wieder zu sich kamen, blickten sie hin und sahen Pārtha (Arjuna), mächtig wie Indra, allein auf dem Schlachtfeld stehen, nachdem er sich aus dem Gedränge der Wagen befreit hatte. Als der Sohn Dhṛtarāṣṭras (Duryodhana) ihn so erblickte, sprach er sogleich hastig — und setzte damit die nächste Wendung der Begegnung in Gang.
