Arjuna–Duryodhana Engagement and Admonition
अवोच: परुषा वाचो धर्ममुत्सूज्य केवलम् | इदं तु दुष्करं मन्ये यदिदं ते चिकीर्षितम्,पहले तूने केवल धर्मकी अवहेलना करके बड़ी कठोर बातें कही हैं, परंतु तू जो कुछ करना चाहता है, वह तेरे लिये मैं अत्यन्त दुष्कर समझता हूँ
avocaḥ paruṣā vāco dharmam utsṛjya kevalam | idaṁ tu duṣkaraṁ manye yad idaṁ te cikīrṣitam ||
Arjuna sprach: „Du hast harte Worte geführt und das Dharma gänzlich beiseitegeworfen. Doch was du nun zu tun gedenkst—das halte ich für überaus schwer für dich zu vollbringen.“
