द्रोण-पार्थ-युद्धम्
Droṇa–Pārtha Strategic Engagement
तेषामापततां युद्धे नापयाने5भवन्मति: । शीघ्रत्वमेव पार्थस्य पूजयन्ति सम चेतसा
teṣām āpatatāṁ yuddhe nāpayāne 'bhavan matiḥ | śīghratvam eva pārthasya pūjayanti sma cetasā ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Als sie in die Schlacht stürmten, kam ihnen kein Gedanke an Rückzug. Vielmehr bewunderten und ehrten sie mit einmütigem Sinn Pārthas rasche Entschlossenheit und sahen in seiner Schnelligkeit und seinem sofortigen Handeln das Zeichen wahrer kriegerischer Vortrefflichkeit und standhafter Pflichterfüllung.
