कालविभाग-निरूपणं तथा युद्धव्यवस्था
Time-Reckoning and Mobilization Counsel
गावश्व सम्प्रतिष्ठाप्य सेनां व्यूह्ू समन््ततः: । आरक्षाश्न विधीयन्तां यत्र योत्स्यामहे परान्,“गौओंको बीचमें खड़ी करके उनके चारों ओर सेनाका व्यूह बना लिया जाय तथा सब ओरसे रक्षाकी ऐसी व्यवस्था कर ली जाय, जिससे हम शत्रुओंके साथ युद्ध कर सकें"
gāv-aśvān sampratiṣṭhāpya senāṁ vyūhya samantataḥ | ārakṣāś ca vidhīyantāṁ yatra yotsyāmahe parān ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Bringt Kühe und Pferde in einer sicheren Mitte unter und stellt das Heer ringsum in Schlachtordnung auf. Richtet nach allen Seiten Schutzmaßnahmen ein, damit wir von diesem gesicherten Boden aus den Feind im Kampf stellen können.“
