Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 33 — Kuru Cattle-Raid and Matsya Mobilization (भूमिंजय-प्रेरणा)
त॑ भीमसेनो धावन्तमभ्यधावत वीर्यवान् | त्रिगर्तराजमादातु सिंह: क्षुद्रमूगं यथा,तब सुशर्मा फिर भाग चला और पराक्रमी भीमसेन त्रिगर्तराजको पकड़नेके लिये उसी प्रकार उसका पीछा करने लगे, जैसे सिंह छोटे मृगोंको पकड़नेके लिये जाता है
taṁ bhīmaseno dhāvantam abhyadhāvat vīryavān | trigartarājam ādātuṁ siṁhaḥ kṣudramṛgaṁ yathā ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Als Suśarmā, der König der Trigartas, die Flucht ergriff, stürmte der mächtige Bhīmasena hinter ihm her, um ihn zu packen—wie ein Löwe, der einem kleinen Hirsch nachsetzt.
