Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 33 — Kuru Cattle-Raid and Matsya Mobilization (भूमिंजय-प्रेरणा)
ततः समस्तास्ते सर्वे तुरगानभ्यचोदयन् । दिव्यमस्त्रं विकुर्वाणात्त्रिगर्तान् प्रत्यमर्षणा:,ऐसा विचारकर वह कानतक खींचे हुए धनुषके द्वारा युद्धके लिये उद्यत दिखायी देने लगा। सुशर्मा बारंबार तीखे बाणोंकी झड़ी लगा रहा है, यह देख सम्पूर्ण मत्स्यदेशीय योद्धा त्रिग्तोके प्रति कुपित हो दिव्यास्त्र प्रकट करते हुए अपने रथोंके घोड़ोंको आगे बढ़ाने लगे
tataḥ samastās te sarve turagān abhyacodayan | divyam astraṃ vikurvāṇās trigartān pratyamarṣaṇāḥ ||
Darauf trieben sie alle gemeinsam ihre Pferde voran. Die Aggression der Trigartas nicht länger ertragend, rückten sie vor, während sie himmlische Waffen entfalteten—getragen von gerechtem Zorn und bereit, auf dem Schlachtfeld Gewalt mit disziplinierter Kraft zu beantworten.
