Endurance in hardship is purposeful: when a dharma-bound trial reaches its rightful completion, inner strength and righteous resolve naturally reassert themselves. The verse underscores disciplined patience and the ethical confidence that follows faithfully keeping one’s pledged term.
The narrator anticipates the moment after the Pāṇḍavas finish their fixed period of concealment (ajñātavāsa). Once that term ends, they will no longer need restraint and secrecy; their great energy and determination will surge forth, setting the stage for open action.
