Bhīṣma’s Appraisal of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Dharmic Rule (भीष्मोक्त-युधिष्ठिर-राजधर्म-प्रशंसा)
विज्ञाय क्रियतां तस्माद् भूयश्व मृगयामहे । ब्राह्मणैश्वारकै: सिद्धैयें चान्ये तद्विदों जना:,“इसलिये इन बातोंको अच्छी तरह सोच-समझकर ही हमें कोई काम करना चाहिये। ब्राह्मण, गुप्तचर, सिद्ध पुरुष अथवा जो दूसरे लोग उन्हें पहचानते हों, उनके द्वारा पुनः उन सबकी खोज करानी चाहिये”
vijñāya kriyatāṁ tasmād bhūyaś ca mṛgayāmahe | brāhmaṇaiś cārakaiḥ siddhair ye cānye tadvido janāḥ ||
Darum sollen wir, nachdem wir die Sache klar erkannt haben, entsprechend handeln. Lasst sie erneut suchen—durch Brahmanen, durch Spione, durch Siddhas (Vollendete) und durch alle anderen, die sie zu erkennen wissen.
