Draupadī’s Lament and Indictment of Misfortune

कि करोमि क्व गच्छामि कथं कार्य भवेन्मम । इत्येवं चिन्तयित्वा सा भीम॑ं वै मनसागमत्‌,“क्या करूँ, कहाँ जाऊँ? कैसे मेरा अभीष्ट कार्य होगा, इस प्रकार चिन्तन करके उसने मन-ही-मन भीमसेनका स्मरण किया

ki karomi kva gacchāmi kathaṃ kāryaṃ bhaven mama | ityevaṃ cintayitvā sā bhīmaṃ vai manasāgamat ||

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Was soll ich tun? Wohin soll ich gehen? Wie wird mein ersehntes Vorhaben gelingen?“ So sinnend wandte sie ihren Geist Bhīma zu und gedachte seiner im Innern als Zuflucht und Stütze.
