Draupadī’s Lament and Indictment of Misfortune
“तुम्हें सुख हो या दुःख, बुरा हुआ हो या भला, सब बातें ठीक-ठीक कह जाओ। वह सब सुनकर मैं उसके निवारणके लिये उचित उपाय सोचूँगा ।। अहमेव हि ते कृष्णे विश्वास्य: सर्वकर्मसु । अहमापत्सु चापि त्वां मोक्षयामि पुन: पुन:,“कृष्णे! सब कार्योके लिये मैं ही तुम्हारा विश्वासपात्र हूँ। मैं ही सब प्रकारकी विपत्तियोंमें बार-बार सहायता करके तुम्हें संकटसे मुक्त करता हूँ
tubhyaṃ sukhaṃ vā duḥkhaṃ vā bādhakaṃ vā śubhaṃ tathā | sarvaṃ yathāvad ācakṣva tac chrutvāhaṃ nivāraṇe yuktam upāyaṃ cintayiṣyāmi || aham eva hi te kṛṣṇe viśvāsyaḥ sarvakarmasu | aham āpatsu cāpi tvāṃ mokṣayāmi punaḥ punaḥ ||
„Ob es dir Glück gebracht hat oder Leid, ob es sich zum Schlechten oder zum Guten gewendet hat—sage alles genau, wie es geschehen ist. Wenn ich alles gehört habe, werde ich das angemessene Mittel zur Abhilfe erwägen. Denn, o Kṛṣṇā, in jedem Vorhaben bin ich allein deine verlässliche Stütze; und auch in Zeiten der Gefahr werde ich dich immer wieder aus der Bedrängnis befreien.“
