Educational Q&A

The verse highlights satya (truthfulness) as a moral and spiritual force: Draupadī invokes her inner fidelity and restraint as a ‘truth-act’ that empowers justice against wrongdoing.

In the Virāṭa court episode, Draupadī confronts her harasser and, asserting her unwavering loyalty to her husbands, foretells that he will be overpowered and dragged—anticipating his imminent punishment.
