अगस्त्य-वातापि-उपाख्यानम्

मुचुकुन्दो5थ मान्धाता मरुत्तश्न महीपति: । कीर्ति पुण्यामविन्दन्त यथा देवास्तपोबलात्‌

mucukundo 'tha māndhātā maruttaś ca mahīpatiḥ | kīrtiṃ puṇyām avindanta yathā devās tapobalāt ||

Lomaśa sprach: «So erlangten auch König Mucukunda, dann Māndhātṛ und Marutta, der Herr der Erde — ein jeder gewann heiligen, verdienstvollen Ruhm, wie die Götter den ihren durch die Kraft der Askese (tapas) errangen.»
