दमयन्त्याः कार्यनिश्चयः — Damayantī’s Crisis Plan and Vārṣṇeya’s Departure

तानीह तिष्ठतां भूमावेकस्थापि न लक्षये । सा विनिश्ित्य बहुधा विचार्य च पुन: पुनः:

tānīha tiṣṭhatāṃ bhūmāv ekasthāpi na lakṣaye | sā viniścitya bahudhā vicārya ca punaḥ punaḥ ||

„Obwohl sie hier auf der Erde stehen, vermag ich nicht einmal ein einziges Zeichen an seinem rechten Platz zu erkennen. Darum habe ich, nachdem ich mich entschlossen hatte, die Sache auf vielerlei Weise erwogen—immer wieder.“
