Book 3, Chapter 45
विदितस्ते<र्जुनो वीर: स स्वर्गफलमाप्नुयात् । त्वं तु शक्राभ्यनुज्ञाता तस्य पादान्तिकं व्रज । तदेवं कुरु कल्याणि प्रसन्नस्त्वां धनंजय:
viditas te 'rjuno vīraḥ sa svargaphalam āpnuyāt | tvaṃ tu śakrābhyanujñātā tasya pādāntikaṃ vraja | tad evaṃ kuru kalyāṇi prasannas tvāṃ dhanaṃjayaḥ |
Vaiśaṃpāyana sprach: „Arjuna, der Held, ist dir bereits bekannt; er wird die Frucht des Himmels erlangen. Du aber, da dir Śakra (Indra) die Erlaubnis gewährt hat, geh zu seinen eigenen Füßen. So handle denn, du glückverheißende Frau: Dhanaṃjaya (Arjuna) wird dir gewogen sein.“
