Śiva Grants the Pāśupata Astra (Pāśupata-Śastra Upadeśa) | शिवेन पाशुपतास्त्रदानम्
ततः प्रतिययुर्देवा: प्रतिमान्य धनंजयम् । यथागतेन विबुधा: सर्वे काममनोजवा:,इसके बाद इच्छानुसार मनके समान वेगवाले समस्त देवता अर्जुनके प्रति सम्मान प्रकट करके जैसे आये थे वैसे ही चले गये
tataḥ pratiyayur devāḥ pratimānya dhanañjayam | yathāgatena vibudhāḥ sarve kāmamanojavāḥ ||
Daraufhin zogen die Götter, nachdem sie Dhanañjaya (Arjuna) gebührend geehrt hatten, wieder davon. All jene himmlischen Wesen—schnell wie der Gedanke—gingen, wie sie gekommen waren, nach ihrem eigenen Willen.
