सौद्दात्‌ सर्वभूतानां विश्वासो नाम जायते । तस्मात्‌ सत्सु विशेषेण विश्वासं कुरुते जन:,सौहार्दसे ही समस्त प्राणियोंका एक-दूसरेके प्रति विश्वास उत्पन्न होता है। संतोंमें सौहार्द होनेके कारण ही सब लोग उनपर अधिक विश्वास करते हैं

Transliteration

sauddāt sarvabhūtānāṃ viśvāso nāma jāyate | tasmāt satsu viśeṣeṇa viśvāsaṃ kurute janaḥ ||

Translation

Aus Wohlwollen und Herzlichkeit entsteht das, was man unter allen Lebewesen Vertrauen nennt. Darum setzen die Menschen ihr Vertrauen—besonders und umso fester—in die Tugendhaften, weil in ihnen Harmonie und Güte wohnen.
