संततार पुनस्तेन सेतुना मकरालयम्‌ | पुष्पकेण विमानेन खेचरेण विराजता

Transliteration

santatāra punas tena setunā makarālayam | puṣpakeṇa vimānena khecareṇa virājatā

Translation

Mārkaṇḍeya sprach: Daraufhin überschritt er auf eben jenem Damm erneut den Ozean—die Wohnstatt der Makaras—und glänzte am Himmel im luftigen Wagen Puṣpaka. Der Vers hebt die zielbewusste Rückkehr und standhafte Entschlossenheit hervor: Nachdem das Nötige vollbracht war, schreitet er ohne Hochmut weiter, getragen von Können, Mitteln und disziplinierter Absicht.
