The verse highlights purposeful movement from one realm to another under auspicious guidance: the ‘blessed one’ proceeds on a significant journey, and even diverse classes of beings align behind him. Ethically, it suggests that righteous or spiritually potent leadership can harmonize varied forces toward a shared course.
Markandeya narrates a transition: the revered figure departs from Laṅkā and enters the Gandhamādana region, traveling with an entourage of Gandharvas and Yakṣas, along with Rākṣasas and Kimpuruṣas—signaling a shift of scene into a sacred, otherworldly landscape.
