यजुषाम्चां साम्नां च गद्यानां चैव सर्वश: । आसीदुच्चार्यमाणानां नि:स्वनो हृदयड्भम:,यजुर्वेद, ऋग्वेद और सामवेद तथा गद्य-भागके उच्चारणसे जो ध्वनि होती थी, वह हृदयको प्रिय जान पड़ती थी
yajuṣāṁ ca sāmnāṁ ca gadyānāṁ caiva sarvaśaḥ | āsīd uccāryamāṇānāṁ niḥsvano hṛdayaṅgamaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Aus der Rezitation der Yajus- und Sāman-Hymnen und auch der Prosapassagen erhob sich ein voller Klang—ein Laut, der in jeder Hinsicht wohltuend war und das Herz tief bewegte.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
