मარკण्डेयागमनम् तथा सत्यव्रत-उपदेशः

Arrival of Mārkaṇḍeya and Counsel on Truth-Vows

ब्राह्मण्यनुपमा दृष्टि: क्षात्रमप्रतिमं बलम्‌ | तौ यदा चरत: सार्थ तदा लोक: प्रसीदति,'ब्राह्मणोंके पास अनुपम दृष्टि (विचारशक्ति) होती है और क्षत्रियके पास अनुपम बल होता है। ये दोनों जब साथ-साथ कार्य करते हैं, तब सारा जगत्‌ सुखी होता है

brāhmaṇy-anupamā dṛṣṭiḥ kṣātram apratimaṃ balam | tau yadā carataḥ sārthaṃ tadā lokaḥ prasīdati ||

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Der Brāhmaṇa besitzt eine unvergleichliche Sicht—Urteilsvermögen und Rat—, der Kṣatriya eine unvergleichliche Kraft. Wenn beide in Eintracht gemeinsam schreiten und handeln, wird die ganze Welt ruhig und gedeihlich.“
