वैशम्पायन उवाच
Ethical evaluation applies both to intentions/choices (the decision to go) and to subsequent actions (what was done there). A questionable end does not justify questionable means; conduct remains accountable.
The narrator Vaiśaṃpāyana reports a statement of disapproval directed at someone who went to a certain place and acted there; the speaker condemns both the journey and the deeds performed, signaling a breach of proper conduct.
