तस्माद हूं क्षमं मन्ये पाण्डवैस्तैर्महात्मभि: । संधिं संधिविदां श्रेष्ठ कुलस्यास्य विवृद्धये,“अतः संधिवेत्ताओंमें श्रेष्ठ नरेश! मैं तो इस कुलके अभ्युदयके लिये उन महात्मा पाण्डवोंके साथ संधि कर लेना ही उचित समझता हूँ

Transliteration

tasmād hi kṣamaṃ manye pāṇḍavaiḥ tair mahātmabhiḥ | sandhiṃ sandhividāṃ śreṣṭha kulasyāsya vivṛddhaye ||

Translation

„Darum, o Bester unter den Kundigen der Bündnisse, halte ich es für angemessen, mit jenen großherzigen Pāṇḍavas einen Vertrag zu schließen, zum Gedeihen und zur Festigung dieses Geschlechts.“
