अथ दैत्यबलाद् घोरान्निष्पपात महाबल:
atha daityabalād ghorān niṣpapāta mahābalaḥ
Dann, von der schrecklichen Wucht der Daityas vorangetrieben, sprang der Gewaltige plötzlich hervor—ein jäher Ausbruch von Macht und Gefahr im Ringen.
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
The verse highlights how overwhelming, fearsome power (here, the Daityas’ force) can precipitate sudden, decisive movement; ethically, it cautions that brute force can drive events, but true strength is shown in how one responds—steadfastly and purposefully—amid terror and pressure.
In Markandeya’s narration, a mighty figure abruptly springs forth, compelled or propelled by the dreadful strength of the Daityas, indicating an escalation and a sharp shift into action within the conflict.
